Adoring Christ in the Eucharist helps us to realize his continued presence and aids us in focusing on the source and summit of our faith.
In the spring of 2014 we installed a new Adoration tabernacle in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, so all are welcome to come and adore Our Lord at any time during open hours! Instructions for how to use the new tabernacle are posted both outside and inside the chapel.
We currently have adoration times in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. Monday through Friday during the school year, but we need students to commit to stay with the Blessed Sacrament. Sign up to spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament here.
We also have a Holy Hour hosted by the Schoenstatt group where we adore Christ through prayer and song every Thursday night in the Holy Spirit Chapel at 8pm.
Please note the following guidelines when coming to adore our Lord:
The Adoration tabernacle is available to be used for personal or communal Eucharistic Adoration. Please follow these guidelines to insure the proper respect of the Blessed Sacrament.
"Whenever I go to the chapel, I put myself in the presence of our good Lord, and I say to Him, ‘Lord, I am here. Tell me what you would have me to do.’ And then, I tell God everything that is in my heart. I tell him about my pains and my joys, and then I listen. If you listen, God will also speak to you."
