"A Celebration for the Longhorn Catholic Community"
A limited number of tickets will be available at the door
until the event sells out.
This event is an opportunity for all generations of our Longhorn Catholic community at the University Catholic Center to join in a spiritual gathering and festive celebration in order to strengthen our current community, and recognize the way that God has been working in our midst to bring us closer to him and to each other through our shared ministry.
Ticket purchase is preferably online (link below), but available in person at the University Catholic Center's front desk, during business hours, using personal check. If you would like to mail a check, contact Christopher Dowling using the phone number and e-mail listed below to reserve your spot.
Immediately following the community Mass, beginning at 6:45pm in the University Catholic Center's Catacombs (a.k.a. Basement), childcare (ages 4+) will be provided by trained/certified volunteers from the UCC's Catholic Sorority, Mu Epsilon Theta. This will include pizza, games, a movie, etc. You must sign your child in and out, in addition to signing a consent form on site.
The AT&T Conference Center is 1/2 block south of the University Catholic Center, and the event is occuring in the Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor. Upon entering through the front door on University Avenue, you will go up the stairs/elevator to the second floor, cross the outdoor courtyard, and then go up one more floor, where the Grand Ballroom will be.
Unfortunately, free parking is not available. Recommended paid public parking is available at the Dobie Center Parking Garage at Whitis Ave and 20th St., or under the AT&T Conference Center at 20th St. and University Ave. Valet Parking is Available at the front door of the AT&T Conference Center on University Ave.
Unfortunately space is limited to 300 guests, which are reserved in segments to resident community, alumni, and students, to provide for a diverse communal gathering. Anyone who registers after spaces have been filled will be placed on a wait list and contacted if space opens up.
The menu includes a plated meal with meat. The ticket purchase form (below) will provide a space for dietary restrictions and special requests.
Alcohol will be available for purchase at the cash bar to everyone 21+. Students over 21 will need their ID checked. The bartenders reserve the right to ask for ID to anyone who approaches the cash bar for service.
