Volunteering is a great way to get involved at the UCC! Some of our regular volunteer opportunities include:
Austin State Support Living Center
Take Christ to others by brefiending a mentally-disabled resident of the AuSSLC. Each Sunday, UCC students accompany residents to a Catholic prayer service. Transportation is provided and training occurs at the beginning of each semester.

Liturgical Ministries
Everyone is welcome to serve at Mass as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, lector or music minister. Sign-ups and training are held at the beginning of each semeter.

Micah 6 Food Pantry
The UCC participates in the ecumenical Micah 6 food pantry through donations and volunteering on Thursdays and Saturdays. Bring canned goods to Sunday Mass and make time to volunteer on Thursday nights and Saturday mornings.

Children’s Religious Education
Share your faith with children by helping out with our Religious Education program. Classes take place on Sunday mornings during the school semesters. Volunteers can help teach weekly classes or assist with one time special events and programs. We also use volunteers to lead our Children’s Liturgy of the Word program at the 9am mass.
