The University Catholic Center is here to serve you! We have activities for almost every interest.
Want to attend Mass? Between the UCC and our sister parish, St. Austin’s (two blocks away), we have three daily Masses and nine Sunday Masses!
Looking for some spiritual reflection time? Go on Longhorn Awakening or the Busy Student’s Retreat. Visit the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
Looking for a place to hang out? Enjoy a meal at our weekly Carbos for Christ after daily Mass on Wednesdays. Study in our meeting rooms or basement lounge.
Searching for ways to grow in your faith? Join a FOCUS or Via Bible study. Talk with one of our priests about vocational discernment. Join the Schoenstatt movement to grow in your relationship with Mary and Jesus in everyday life.
Want to serve as a volunteer? Visit adults with developmental disabilities at the Austin State Supported Living Center. Study and lobby with the Catholic Longhorns for Life. Train for liturgical ministry as a lector, extraordinary minister, or Mass Coordinator. Work in the Micah 6 Ecumenical Food Pantry. Educate and promote Catholic social teaching with the Social Justice Team. Travel to new places on the Spring Break Mission Trip. Our social organizations also do volunteer work around the UCC and the city of Austin.
Want to meet new friends who share your faith? Pledge Mu Epsilon Theta Catholic Sorority or Lambda Omega Alpha Catholic Fraternity in the fall. Lead youth retreats with STRONG. Build 20- and 30-something community with the University Graduates and Professionals. Cook some Carbos for Christ. Praise and worship the Lord with Campus-based SFL and CIW. Join the Knights of Columbus. Bring the international Church to Austin with the Korean-American Catholic Ministry and Indonesian Catholic Community.
We are your spiritual home away from home while you’re on the 40 Acres. We’re so glad you’re here!
