The Longhorn Catholic Council is a ministry of students to help all members of the University Catholic Center feel welcomed and engaged. The LCC consists of several committees, including the Faith Formation Committee, Social Events Committee, Liturgy Committee, and Marketing Committee, to provide service to all members of the Catholic Center to grow closer to each other and closer to Christ.

We specialize in ‘making people smile.’ The Austin State Supported Living Center, a residential facility for developmental delayed adults, does not have enough staff to bring everyone to church that wants to come. Catholic Center students enable residents of the Living Center to attend a Catholic prayer service on Sunday mornings. Training and carpooling are provided.

John 15 is a freshman outreach ministry that aims to provide fellowship and a spiritual community for incoming students. This ministry involves group time, weekly hangouts, praise & worship, and student speakers that will help provide students with a plug into the rest of the Catholic Center. Throughout the year we will be journeying through the 15th chapter of John's gospel, focusing on the importance of staying rooted in Christ and remaining in Him.
